Well, this doesn't shock me because I've been thinking about it since we started WIN. Tony—once again—has gotten to
the start/finish line before lot of us by announcing his print magazine based on his blog alwayson-network.com (I know,
it's not really a blog, but it sort of is).
Congrats Tony!
Of course, who they hell wants the headache of killing trees… it's such a drain and a fight for what
payoff?! Right now I think that an interview on Engadget.com is more powerful then any cover on a tech magazine. Then again, people love to have their picture on a cover of a magazine… I know that all to well from Silicon Alley Reporter when PR people—and CEOs themselves—would BEG to be on the cover.
AlwaysOn is launching a new quarterly magazine this winter, and you can get the first issue for FREE. Simply update your e-newsletter profile with your current mailing address by clicking the “Update your profile” link at the top of this email.
The AlwaysOn magazine will be a regularly-scheduled briefing on innovation in technology and media. The first issue will include breakout interviews with Bill Gates, Michael Powell, Jonathan Schwartz, Stratton Sclavos, and other top industry luminaries, plus a special section on the AlwaysOn 100 most innovative companies on the planet.

1. It'll be interesting to see whether Worthwhile launches first -- they may very well come before AlwaysOn.
